The current ROM targets an SXROM-compatible MMC1 board: 128 KB PRG ROM, 8 KB writable CHR RAM, and 32 KB of banked, retained PRG RAM for workspace and saved projects.
The cartridge includes its own controller-operated keyboard. Browser keyboards and Bluetooth connections are conveniences of the host environment; original NES hardware does not provide them.
What remains
PCB and shell selection, retained storage, flash-cartridge compatibility, original-hardware testing, power-off save retention, packaging, and distribution need to be established. Physical NES testing has not been verified.
